Scalys Agency works with personal brands and potentially sensitive creator information. We apply data minimisation, restricted access and confidentiality as core operating principles.
1. Who controls your data
Scalys Agency is the data controller for information collected through this website and during initial agency enquiries. You may contact us about privacy at contact@scalysagency.com.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name and email address.
- Professional information you choose to provide, including social-media handles, current revenue range, goals and messages.
- Communications exchanged with Scalys Agency.
- Limited technical data required for security and delivery of the website, such as IP address, date, time and browser information in server logs.
- For accepted clients only, additional account, contractual, billing and content-management information described in the individual agency agreement.
Do not submit passwords, identity documents, intimate media or other highly sensitive material through the public application form.
3. Why we use it
Applications and enquiries
To review your request, respond, arrange a call and assess whether our services are suitable. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interest in managing enquiries.
Client services
To deliver agreed management, marketing, brand protection and related services. The legal basis is performance of the contract and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.
Security and legal matters
To protect accounts, investigate misuse, establish legal claims and comply with lawful requests. The basis is our legitimate interests or a legal obligation.
We do not sell personal information and do not use application data for unrelated advertising.
4. Who may receive it
Access is limited to authorised Scalys Agency personnel and service providers who need the information for their role and are subject to confidentiality obligations. This may include hosting, email, form-processing, security, accounting and professional advisers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
The website application currently uses FormSubmit to transmit submissions to our business email. Providers may process data from countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards must be used for such transfers.
5. Retention
- Unsuccessful or inactive applications: normally deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Client and contractual records: for the duration of the relationship, then archived only for applicable accounting, tax and limitation periods.
- Server security logs: retained only for the period reasonably necessary to protect the service, normally no longer than 12 months.
- Creator media and account-access material: returned or deleted at the end of services according to the individual agency agreement, unless retention is legally required.
6. Security and creator confidentiality
We use role-based access, confidentiality commitments and reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. Clients receive additional operational safeguards in their written agency agreement.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also define instructions concerning your data after death where French law applies.
Send requests to contact@scalysagency.com. We may request proportionate proof of identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL or your competent data-protection authority.

9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The current version and revision date will remain available on this page.
